Signs your dog is hurting

— 2:14 AM

"She'll lay down, and not even two minutes later she gets up and the cycle repeats."

Aging dogs don't always limp. Most just stop sleeping well.

Pacing at night

They wander, can't settle, lie down only to get straight back up.

Circling before lying down

Repeated circling is a search for a position that doesn't hurt.

Choosing the hard floor

When tile beats their bed, the bed is the thing that's wrong.

Struggling to get up

A caved-in bed takes away the leverage stiff joints need.

The uncomfortable truth

You didn't buy the wrong category. You bought the wrong foam.

"Orthopedic" isn't a regulated word. Most beds sold under it are low-density foam in a nice cover. Under 60, 80, 100 lb of dog, night after night, that foam compresses and stops coming back — a hollow forms in the middle, and your dog ends up sleeping through the bed onto the floor. That's not the idea failing. That's the build failing.

Low-density foam

Compresses into a hollow. Joints drop into the gap.

High-density core

Holds its shape, so weight spreads across the whole surface.

If you've already replaced two or three beds, you've spent more on beds you threw out than this one costs.

How it's built

Three layers, each doing one job.

Removable, machine-washable cover

Zips off and goes straight in the machine. Because life with dogs is messy.

Memory foam comfort layer

Conforms around hips, elbows and shoulders so weight isn't parked on the sore joint.

High-density support base

The layer the cheap beds leave out. It's what stops the middle from caving in.

Will it last?

The honest version.

We're not going to quote you a lab number we can't show you. Here's what we'll say instead: the reason cheap beds flatten is that they skip the high-density support base. This one has it. And if it does flatten on you inside your trial, that's exactly what the 30 nights and the free pickup are for — you don't eat the cost of finding out.

Washing

Cover unzips and machine washes. The foam core stays out of the machine.

The core

High-density base foam — the layer that resists compression over time.

Your cover

30 nights to judge it in your own house, with a free pickup if it fails.

Where the reviews are

We're new. We'd rather say so.

You've probably noticed there are no star ratings on this page. That's deliberate. PawTherapy launched recently, and we're not going to print a review count we haven't earned — you've been burned by enough beds to know what invented proof looks like.

So we're doing it the other way round. You get 30 nights to find out in your own home, on your own dog, on your own floor. If it doesn't do what this page says it does, email us and we'll arrange the pickup and refund you. The risk sits with us until your dog has actually slept on it.

Our promise

30 nights to decide. Free pickup if it's not right.

1

Put it where they already sleep

Don't take their old bed away yet. Let them find this one on their own terms.

2

Give them a couple of weeks

Some dogs claim it the first night. Others need longer. Both are normal.

3

Email us if it isn't working

We arrange a free pickup and refund you. You don't ship it, you don't pay for it.

Details

Everything else you'd want to ask.

Go by your dog's current weight: Small up to 25 lb, Medium 25–55 lb, Large 55–90 lb, Extra Large 90 lb and up. If they're between two sizes, size up — older dogs stretch out more as their muscles relax, and a bed they hang off is a bed they won't use.
It happens, and it's usually a settling-in problem rather than a bed problem — leave their old blanket on it, put it in the spot they already choose, and give it a week or two. If they still won't claim it inside 30 nights, email us and we'll arrange a free pickup and a full refund.
Yes — the cover zips off and goes in a normal washing machine. Wash it cool and let it air dry to keep the fabric and the zip in good shape. The foam core doesn't go in the machine.
The difference is the support base. Most budget beds are a single slab of soft foam that compresses and never recovers. This one puts memory foam on top of a high-density support base, which is the layer that stops the middle hollowing out under a heavy dog.
Shipping across the U.S. is free on every size. You'll get tracking by email as soon as your order leaves. If anything looks wrong with the delivery, reply to that email and we'll sort it.
Email support@pawtherapy.org within 30 nights of delivery and we'll arrange the pickup and refund you in full. No forms, no restocking fee, and no return shipping cost to you.

You already noticed.
That's why you're here.

Most people don't catch it. They hear the pacing and think the dog is just getting old. You looked it up at 2am instead. That's the whole difference.
