You Know Something's Wrong When They Can't Settle
It starts with the circling. Round and round before lying down — then up again two minutes later. Then the pacing at 2am. The whining. The slipping on hardwood trying to stand.
You tell yourself it's just ageing. But it's not "just" anything. It's pressure. Every time your dog lies on a surface that can't support their weight, their joints compress against the floor. A bed that's bottomed out isn't a bed — it's a thin layer of fabric between their hips and the ground.
And you've already tried to fix it. You bought an "orthopedic" bed. Maybe two. They all did the same thing: collapsed in weeks, broke at the zipper, or your dog refused to use them.
The problem was never your dog being picky. The problem was that most beds aren't built for real weight, real washing, and real daily use.
Engineered for Recovery
High-Density Support Base
The bottom layer is high-density foam that refuses to compress flat — even under 120+ lbs of daily use. This is what prevents the 'crater' that forms in cheaper beds. Your dog's hips and elbows never press through to the floor.
Pressure-Relief Top Layer
Responsive memory foam distributes your dog's weight across a wider surface area. Less pressure on joints means less shifting, less circling, and faster settling.
Low-Front Entry for Arthritic Joints
Three-sided bolster with an open front. Your dog steps onto the bed — not over a high wall. If it hurts to get in, they'll sleep on the floor.
Waterproof Liner + Washable Cover
The cover zips off and goes in the machine. The waterproof liner protects foam from accidents and odour. The zipper is reinforced — because 'zipper broke after one wash' is the most common complaint in the category.
Why Dogs (And Owners) Prefer It
No More Cratering
High-density foam maintains support night after night. No hollow spots. Rated for 120+ lbs.
Arthritic-Friendly Entry
Open-front design. Step in, not over. Three-sided bolsters for security without the barrier.
Survives Real Washing
Reinforced zipper. Machine-washable cover. Waterproof inner liner. 'Hand wash only' is not a solution.
Non-Slip Base
Stays where you put it. No sliding on hardwood when your dog stands up.
Replacement Covers
One zipper failure shouldn't kill a $150 bed. Covers are sold separately.
Sized for Real Dogs
XL fits dogs up to 130lbs with room to stretch. 'Large' shouldn't mean 'cramped.'

Common Questions
Because most beds labelled 'orthopedic' use low-density foam that compresses under real weight. Our base layer is high-density support foam rated for 120+ lbs of daily use. That firmness is what prevents the crater. We back it with a 60-night trial: if it bottoms out, full refund.
Dogs often choose floors for two reasons: cooling, and because collapsed beds create pressure on joints. Our breathable cover and responsive foam address both. Place it where they already sleep, add a familiar blanket, give them a few nights. If they don't take to it within 60 nights, return it.
This is the most common complaint in the entire dog bed category, so we over-engineered the zipper. Heavy-duty zip with a fabric guard. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low. If the zipper fails, contact us — we'll replace it.
Three $40 beds in a year is $120, and your dog was uncomfortable the whole time. This bed is designed to last years. We also sell replacement covers separately — one failed cover doesn't mean buying a new bed.
We don't use that term because there's no universal certification for it in pet products. The foam is high-density, CertiPUR-US certified (tested for content, emissions, durability), and chosen for weight support and longevity — not softness.
We can't make medical claims — that's your vet's territory. The bed distributes weight more evenly, reduces joint compression, and provides a stable platform. Many owners of arthritic dogs report faster settling. Talk to your vet about supportive sleep surfaces.
Email support@pawtherapy.org within 60 days. We send a prepaid label (US). Ship it back. Full refund in 5–7 business days. No restocking fees, no store credit tricks.
Unzip the outer cover, machine wash cold on gentle, tumble dry low. The waterproof liner wipes down with a damp cloth. The foam never needs washing. Replacement covers sold separately.
They Can't Choose Their Own Bed.
But You Can Choose a Better One.
Your dog doesn't know what 'orthopedic' means. They just know if it hurts to lie down. Give them a spot where it doesn't.
